9:00 AM Choir
The SCOS choir sings at the 9 AM Sunday Mass from September to Pentecost. It is open to high school age and up, who love to sing praise to God! In addition to singing for Sunday Masses, this choir sings for Christmas Eve, the Triduum Liturgies, and other special Liturgies. Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings in the piano room from 6:30-7:30 with warm-up on Sundays at 8:15.
Cantors
The cantor leads the singing of hymns at Mass and promotes the singing of the congregation.
Accompanists (Organ/Piano)
Accompanists, whether on organ or piano, accompany the cantor leading the congregation in song. Accompanists are needed for the 5:30 Saturday Mass and the 11 AM Sunday Masses year round and at the 9 AM Sunday Masses during the summer.
Instrumentalists
Instrumentalists (woodwinds, strings, and brass) are welcome and needed for special liturgies and with choirs as available.
