The Saint Anthony Family Shelter ministry at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church offers parishioners an opportunity to serve families in need through acts of compassion and hospitality. Volunteers help prepare, provide, and serve meals to residents of the shelter on an as-needed basis throughout the year. This ministry is a meaningful way to live out the Gospel call to care for our neighbors by offering comfort, nourishment, and kindness to families experiencing difficult circumstances.
Whether serving a warm meal, helping with setup and cleanup, or donating food items, volunteers play an important role in supporting the shelter’s mission of providing hope and stability to local families. A food handler’s card is required for those assisting with food preparation and service. Parishioners interested in volunteering are encouraged to contact the parish office for upcoming opportunities and scheduling information.
